The NITC recognized departing commissioners Randy Meininger and Dan Shundoff at their meeting on March 8, 2018. Meininger is the mayor of Scottsbluff and president of the Rural Nebraska Regional Ambulance Network. Shundoff is president and CEO of Intellicom.

The NITC also welcomes new commissioners LaShonna Dorsey and Thomas Nutt. Dorsey is the vice president of Business Development and Tech Talent of the AIM Institute. Nutt is a Phelps County Commissioner. He retired as the Phelps County sheriff in 2011.

The NITC’s updated statewide technology plan, Transforming Government, Education, Healthcare and Communities, focuses on seven strategic initiatives which promote the effective use of technology within the State of Nebraska, as well as education, economic development, local government, and health care.
