Training Advisory Work Group

The Training Advisory Work Group is composed of five K-12 and five Higher Education representatives from across the state who are interested in distance learning training. The members are named by the NITC Education Council. Training Advisory is responsible for the annual administration of $130,000 in distance learning training grants for K-20 education under the authority of the Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Commission. This working group also identifies distance learning training needs and suggests workshops or conferences which will benefit educators. Training Advisory is assisted by liaisons from NETCHE, NITC and NET and will be responsible for maintaining the Distance Learning Resource Guide.
