The next meeting of the Education Council will be on Thursday, March 15, 2012, starting at 1:00PM CT in the Board Room of the NSEA Building, 605 S. 14th, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Statewide Technology Plan

The Nebraska Information Technology Commission revised the Statewide Technology Plan in November 2009. It contained eight strategic initiatives, with two of the eight affecting education.

Six Original Priorities

The Education Council used its May, 1999 meetings and an extensive facilitative process to formulate its six priorities related to developing educational information technology in the State of Nebraska. These priorities will establish the main interest areas of the Education Council's efforts and activities.
